Shelby’s Backcountry Marketing & Media is built on a passion for helping fellow small businesses succeed. As a small business owner myself, I understand the unique challenges and rewards that come with running your own venture. For over 15 years, I have been dedicated to supporting local entrepreneurs, from family farms and tourism companies to community events and everything in between.

My journey began with a love for the powersports lifestyle, which inspired me to launch Backcountry Motorsports Media. This venture opened doors for me to travel across North America, working in management, content creation, marketing, and graphic design. These experiences allowed me to develop hands-on expertise in branding, content creation, event organization, and marketing strategy. Always with a focus on authenticity and creativity.

In 2015, I expanded my creative pursuits by launching RDR Apparel, an apparel line inspired by motorsports and the western lifestyle. After a brief pause to focus on client work, I have relaunched RDR Apparel as a service for my clients, offering custom and unique apparel pieces. Whether you are looking for standout designs that capture your brand’s spirit or simply want your regular logo on quality apparel, I am here to help you express your identity through what you wear.

Throughout the years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with a wide variety of clients, leading impactful campaigns and helping bring their stories to life. My commitment is to provide affordable, high-quality services that put small businesses at the forefront, because I truly believe in the power and importance of supporting local entrepreneurs and organizations.

Giving back and supporting my community is at the heart of what I do. Mental health awareness is a cause that is especially important to me. Many people know my best friend Diana’s story and her courageous battle with mental health challenges. Sadly, Diana is no longer with us, but her story is a powerful reminder of why it is so important to talk openly, listen without judgment, and support one another. Even with an amazing support team of family and friends, the system failed her, highlighting the urgent need for stronger mental health support within our healthcare system. In Diana’s memory, I am dedicated to raising awareness and showing support for mental health. As part of my community outreach, I sponsor two belt buckles at the local Trout Creek Fall Fair, where I also sponsor the Horse Show and volunteer my time.
